### 1. Who we are

By using this website or buying from it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the website.

### 2. Definitions

- **The website:** this website and all of its pages. - **Direct, we, us:** the company described in clause 1. - **The customer, you:** anyone who uses this website or buys from it. - **A service:** a government transaction we complete for you in return for a service fee. - **A course:** recorded learning content that you buy and watch on the website. - **An order:** one purchase, covering one or more services or courses. - **Official fees:** amounts payable to a government body. They are separate from our service fee.

### 3. Your account

1. You can browse the website and add items to your cart without an account. An account is required at the last step before payment. 2. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter, in particular your **email address and phone number**. Your receipt is sent to your email, and for a service we call you on your number. Wrong details mean we cannot reach you. 3. Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for any use made of your account. 4. You must have full legal capacity to enter into a contract. The website is not intended for children. 5. You may ask us to delete your account at any time. Deleting your account means losing access to any course you bought, and it does not return any amount paid.

### 4. What a government service is, and what it is not

This is the most important clause on the page, so please read all of it.

1. **We are a private services office. We are not a government body and we are not affiliated with one.** Our work is preparing your papers, filing your application and following it up with the relevant authority. 2. **The price shown on each service is our service fee.** Each service states whether the official government fees are included in the price or not, so read that line before you pay. 3. **After payment, one of our team calls you** on the number you entered at checkout, within [PLACEHOLDER PH-11: response time] and during our working hours [PLACEHOLDER PH-17], and explains which documents are needed and how we collect them. 4. **Documents are not uploaded on this website.** We collect them through direct contact. The website has no file upload and does not store a copy of your identity documents. 5. **There is no page on this website that shows the status of your transaction.** Following up on your transaction happens through the member of our team who is in contact with you. 6. **You are responsible for the accuracy and validity of the documents you give us**, and for the transaction being lawful. We cannot complete a request that relies on incorrect information or documents, and we may stop work if that happens. 7. **A government body's decision, and how long it takes, are not within our control.** We apply our usual professional effort to preparing and following up your application, but we do not guarantee a particular outcome or a particular completion date. Any period we mention is an estimate based on our experience. 8. If your transaction turns out to need additional official fees, or a document that was not known at the time of purchase, we tell you and agree it with you before continuing.

### 5. Courses and digital content

1. **Your access to a course is permanent.** You pay once and the course stays available in your account, with no monthly subscription and no renewal. 2. **Viewing is on the website only.** There is no download button and the course is not available for download. 3. **Your licence is personal and cannot be transferred.** You may not share your account or your login details, and you may not record, publish or resell any part of a course. 4. **A course does not include a certificate**, and it is not a substitute for legal or professional advice. 5. We may improve a course or replace a lesson with a better version. If we do, your access continues to the updated version. 6. We may **remove your access to a specific course** if clause 5.3 is broken, or if we have agreed with you to return what you paid for it. Removal is done manually by our team.

### 6. Prices and payment

1. All prices are in **Kuwaiti Dinar** and are shown to three decimal places, for example `KD 25.000`. 2. **No tax is added to our prices today.** If a tax is imposed by law in future, it will be applied and shown clearly in your cart and on your receipt before you pay. 3. **Payment happens on the page of our payment provider** [PLACEHOLDER PH-19: name of the payment provider]. Your card details never pass through our website and we never store card numbers. What we keep is a transaction reference, the amount, the status and the payment method used. 4. **Accepted methods:** KNET for Kuwaiti cards, and Visa or Mastercard. We accept purchases from inside and outside Kuwait. 5. If your card is in a currency other than the Kuwaiti Dinar, your bank may apply its own exchange rate or a foreign currency fee. That is between you and your bank. 6. Official government fees are paid as they stand. We do not add a percentage on top of them unless the service description says so.

### 7. Orders and confirmation

1. **An order is confirmed only when our payment provider confirms the payment.** Being returned to our website after paying is not by itself proof that the payment succeeded. 2. Once confirmed we email you a receipt. **A course opens for you immediately** on confirmation, and for a service our team contacts you as described in clause 4. 3. **If an amount has been taken and no access has opened and nobody has contacted you**, call us straight away on the numbers in clause 1 with your order number and we will put it right. 4. We may cancel an order that carries an **obvious pricing error** or that appears unlawful, and in that case we return the full amount to you. 5. Your receipt is the record of your purchase. Our own records are the reference if there is a disagreement.

### 8. Cancellation and refunds

1. **Refunds are not processed online and there is no refund button on this website.** Every case is reviewed manually by our team. 2. The cases we review and how to ask are set out in our **Return Policy**, which forms part of these terms. 3. **Official fees that have already been paid to a government body cannot be returned** in any circumstances, because they are no longer held by us.

### 9. Acceptable use

You may not:

1. record, copy, publish or resell course content or the written transcripts that come with it, 2. share your login details or try to reach content you have not bought, 3. attempt to disrupt the website or extract its data automatically, 4. provide false information or documents.

Breaking any of these lets us suspend your account or remove your access to content, with no refund becoming due.

### 10. Intellectual property

Everything on this website, including the page text, the design, the logo, the courses and the written transcripts that come with them, belongs to Direct or is licensed to it, and is protected under applicable law. Buying a course gives you no right in the content beyond watching it yourself.

### 11. Limitation of liability

1. We provide our services with the usual professional care, but **we do not guarantee any government body's decision or how long it takes**. 2. We are not liable for a delay or a loss caused by something outside our control, such as a change in a government body's procedure, its systems being down, an internet outage, or a payment provider outage, or an event of force majeure. 3. **Our maximum liability to you for any order is the amount you paid on that order.** 4. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or a lost business opportunity.

### 12. Contact and notices

1. **Email is our official notice channel.** Receipts, account messages and password resets are sent to your email address. 2. Keep your email address and phone number up to date in your profile. 3. Messages you send us from the Contact page are recorded so that we can reply to them.

### 13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each update is issued as a new version with a new effective date, and the version you accepted at the time of your purchase stays stored and readable. Continuing to use the website after an update is published means you accept the updated version.

### 14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
